An old fashioned police sting has netted milk thieves in Christchurch.
Police hid under leaves and bush to observe two men suspected of stealing milk over the past two years from a milk truck delivering to businesses.
Senior Constable Gerry Jackson says the offenders were spotted on Monday morning and arrested.
He says at least 300 litres of milk has been stolen.
The men will appear in the Christchurch District Court on Thursday.
