The New Zealand Breakers will be in the NBL competition's grand final again this year after beating the Townsville Crocodiles in Auckland.

The defending champions clinched the best of three series with a 97-80 victory on Saturday night.

The Breakers were ahead 44-42 at halftime.

Just two days earlier, the New Zealanders had forced the series to a decider with a 94-83 win over the Crocodiles in Townsville.
