Almost 500 people protested in Whanganui on Saturday in support of Meatworkers Union members who are locked-out by AFFCO at eight plants.
Other union members are on strike in opposition to the lock-out.
The protesters marched through the central city to Majestic Square.
Union members are also camping outside shops around the country that sell meat from AFFCO, asking customers for donations.
A march was held in Moerewa in Northland on Friday and union members will protest outside AFFCO's plant at Ngaruawahia in Waikato on Sunday.
Mediation will resume on Thursday.
