A 20 year old man accused of stabbing a 95 year old West Auckland man in the head has been further remanded in custody.
The man faces charges including wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, following the attack at the elderly man's home on Wednesday night.
The 20 year old appeared in the Waitakere District Court on Friday for the second time since the attack this morning.
He was remanded in custody until Monday, when he will apply for bail.
Name suppression may also be lifted then.
