For the second time, a great white shark tagged in New Zealand waters has turned up 3000km away in Australia.
The latest long distance swimmer is a 3.5-metre shark nicknamed Thomas.
NIWA says it was tagged in Foveaux Strait in February and has now sent a signal showing it is in the waters of the Great Barrier Reef - where it's much warmer.
