Police investigating a burglary at a Glenfield address about 7.30am on Saturday say they pursued a suspect whose vehicle rammed the officers' car three times.
Spikes were laid to stop the vehicle but the driver swerved into oncoming traffic and hit another motorist.
No one was hurt, but the pursuit was abandoned.
They are looking for a four-door, double cab ute coloured white, which has signwriting on the doors and an orange flashing light on the roof. A number plate on it is false, and police say the small truck may have been stolen.
