About 50 people gathered outside Ministry of Economic Development offices in Wellington on Monday to protest against deep sea oil drilling and fracking.
They then marched to the oil and gas industry lobby group Straterra and the Brazilian embassy.
Petrobras, a Brazilian oil company, has a licence to prospect for oil in the Raukumara Basin off East Cape.
