Searchers have found no trace of a tramper who has been missing in North Otago for a week.
David Palmer, of Dunedin, entered the Ahuriri Valley last Saturday for what was expected to be a four-hour tramp.
The police say a large scale search, involving more than 50 people on some days, has so far been unsuccessful.
About 25 searchers and two specialist search dogs will continue the search on Saturday.
