A fatal collision between a truck and a campervan near Levin has led to the closure of a section of State Highway 1.
A St John's Ambulance spokesperson has confirmed one person died at the scene.
Police say drivers can expect delays on the Kimberly Road intersection, just south of Levin.
Short diversions are in place.
