Police in Wellington have arrested two people connected to a methamphetamine supply ring.
Search warrants were executed in the Hutt Valley suburbs of Waiwhetu and Newlands on Thursday and a man and a woman were arrested and charged with selling methamphetamine.
Senior Sergeant Steve Harwood says they were tipped off by the public about suspicious behaviour at the two properties.
The man and woman are in their late thirties and appeared at the Lower Hutt District Court later in the day.
Police say they expect more charges to be laid.
