A homicide investigation is under way in Invercargill after a man died from stab wounds early on Saturday morning.
Police say they were called to a house in north Invercargill about 1am, where they found that Darnell Glen Leslie had been stabbed.
Mr Leslie, 31, was taken to Southland Hospital, but died soon after arrival.
Police say a 26-year-old man is in custody and they are not seeking anyone else in relation to the incident.
