ASB bank says a technical glitch delayed overnight payments to some customers.
The bank says the money was deposited in affected clients' accounts at 9.45am on Tuesday.
It says it will refund any charges that customers incur because of the delay.
Work and Income says the delay affected clients waiting for payments, but only those who were ASB customers.
