A man is fighting for his life in hospital after being attacked at his home in Auckland.
Police say the man was seriously assaulted about 5.40pm on Monday in Mt Albert and is in Auckland Hospital in a serious condition.
The Criminal Investigation Branch are investigating and say they are following strong lines of inquiry.
