McCain Foods Australia is recalling a batch of its vegetable pasta which has been found to contain metal fragments.
McCain Stir Fry Vegetables Pasta Alfredo with sauce is sold in New Zealand in Pak'N Save and New World. The product has been taken off the shelves.
McCain Foods Australia says the recall is a precaution and customers should be able to return the product to their local store for a full refund.
The recalled product is sold in 600g bags, with a best before date of 21 December 2009, and was distributed in January
