The Coatesville-Riverhead Highway north of Auckland has re-opened at the intersection of Screen Road following a crash on Sunday afternoon.
A ute and a motorbike collided with the driver of the latter seriously injured.
Further north, State Highway 16 about 30 kilometres from Wellsford has also re-opened after a car ended up in a ditch there.
Two people were hurt in that crash, one critically.
And in the South Island the main road between the Marlborough Sounds and Nelson has also re-opened.
Highway 6 had been blocked by a serious crash at Whangamoa.
