England pulled off a narrow victory over New Zealand, taking the second netball Test, 40-38, in Dunedin on Wednesday night.
It is only the third time England has beaten the Silver Ferns since 1963, but it is their second win from the last three encounters.
England coach Sue Hawkins described the result as "absolutely sensational".
On Monday, the Silver Ferns trounced England 65-26 in the first of the three-test series.
The final Test is at Palmerston North on Saturday night.
