A new chair has been appointed to head Auckland Transport.
Doctor Lester Levy will replace Mark Ford, whose term at the Auckland Council-owned agency ends in November.
Mr Levy is the current chair of the Auckland and Waitemata District Health Boards.
Mr Levy has spent much of his career in the health sector. He will take up the chairmanship in November, alongside his existing district health board roles.
