A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after his car collided with a train in Morrinsville on Sunday night.
Police say the 76-year-old man was taken to Waikato hospital after the crash at the intersection of Piako Road and State Highway 26.
Motorists travelling northbound are being diverted from State Highway 26 onto Kuranui Road whilst the police carry out their investigations.
