A car was driven through the front window of a video rental store in Kapiti north of Wellington on Wednesday.
Police say the car crashed through the window of the Video Ezy Kapiti store, just before 1pm, rupturing a gas pipe.
The Fire Servicesays the gas leak turned out to be minor.
The driver was not injured in the crash and it is not clear why the crash occurred.
