Truck drivers are enjoying a drop in the price of diesel but are worried the economic downturn will mean less freight to carry.
Retail diesel prices at all major outlets dropped to $1.25.9 per litre on Monday. It was $1.91.9 per litre in July.
The Road Transport Association says members are not sure what is around the corner, but there is a lot of uncertainty over how much freight there will be to move.
It says fuel reductions mean some freight companies have already started to charge their clients less.
