Three people have been treated after a gas leak forced the evacuation of a building in the Christchurch suburb of Waltham on Tuesday afternoon.
A Fire Service spokesperson says emergency services were alerted to a gas leak in Mowbray Street shortly after 1pm.
A crew entered the premises wearing chemical gear and ventilated the building.
Three people were treated at the scene.
