Saturday night's Super Rugby final in Hamilton between the Waikato Chiefs and the Sharks of South Africa is a sellout.
Chiefs' season ticket holders and sponsors snapped up 8000 tickets in the last two days.
A total of 25,100 tickets have been sold to the match with some ardent Chiefs supporters queuing outside Waikato Stadium from 2am on Wednesday, so as not to miss out on tickets when they went on sale at 8am.
The Chiefs have recorded a 97% increase in ticket sales this season and chief executive Gary Dawson says a home town final is the icing on a great season.
