The good and bad news about Auckland Council's new property rates is now available online.
Ratepayers can find what their new rates are on the council's website, even though the bill itself may not arrive in the post for up to another week.
The introduction of a regionwide rating system to replace those of seven former councils has resulted in rises and falls in various parts of the region.
Some higher value homes in central areas face rises of up to 15%, although the biggest rises will be spread over several years, with a cap of 10% in any one year.
The website does not include water and wastewater charges that have also been changed, but which are now billed by the council's Watercare Services company.
