Chiefs fans will be able to celebrate their team's Super Rugby championship win at a street parade through Hamilton on Monday.

The Chiefs beat the Sharks 37-6 in the final in Hamilton on Saturday night.

The team parade along the city's main street is set to start at 12.30pm and end at Garden Place, where there will be an official welcome and celebration.

Mayor Julie Hardaker says it's the city's way of saying thanks to the Chiefs, who, she says, have thrilled their supporters during the season.

It's the Chiefs' first-ever Super Rugby title.
