IBM is to open a new centre in Auckland in conjunction with the Unitec Institute of Technology at its Mount Albert campus.
IBM anticipates the centre will employ up to 400 people in the next two years, including graduates and current students at the Institute.
It will offer services such as payroll, and finance administration to firms here and overseas.
IBM will also offer work experience and other help to technology students at Unitec.
