Fuel prices down again

6:14 am on 20 November 2008

The retail price of fuel is down again.

Allowing for regional variations, 91 octane petrol at BP, Caltex and Shell service stations is now $1.48.9 per litre - a drop of 5 cents.

The retail price of diesel is also cheaper, at $1.20.9 centres per litre.

Shell says the decrease is due to the continued fall in the cost of refined product.

Petrol is now down in price by 70c per litre since 17 July. Diesel is down by 65c a litre since 8 July.
