9:38 pm on 13 August 2012

Police in South Auckland are working through public information they've received about a missing woman, who hasn't been seen for almost two months

Rae Portman, 33, who is also known as Bok, hasn't been seen since she checked into a motel in the Auckland suburb of Mt Albert on 20 June.

The police say she had driven up from Hamilton to visit some friends in Auckland.

They say she did not check out of her motel the following day, leaving her belongings in the room.

Ms Portman was reported missing two weeks later on 2 July.

Detective Inspector Mark Gutry says after media coverage of the case during the weekend, they have received a lot of information from the public which they are working through.

But he says there are no new leads yet.
