Over 1 million people in New Zealand have been vaccinated against the flu this year.
That's in line with the number vaccinated two years ago, when a swine flu pandemic occurred.
Health Minister Tony Ryall says district health boards and GPs have done a great job helping many people get protection.
He says the flu season usually lasts about eight - 10 weeks and it's likely to still be around for another few weeks.
Mr Ryall is urging more people to get vaccinated.
