Police in Invercargill have charged a man with 24 theft and fraud charges relating to military medals.
The medals belong to New Zealand returned servicemen and their families.
The police inquiry was initiated following Television New Zealand's Fair Go programme that aired earlier this year.
The man is due to appear in the Invercargill District Court on Friday.
