The Defence Force has confirmed a memorial service for the three New Zealand soldiers killed in Afghanistan last Sunday will take place at the Burnham military camp on Saturday.
The bodies of Corporal Luke Tamatea, Lance-Corporal Jacinda Baker and Private Richard Harris arrived in Christchurch on Thursday.
All three were killed when a roadside bomb exploded in Bamiyan province.
After the service, the bodies of the fallen soldiers will be returned to their families for private services.
