One person has died in a house fire in Orewa on the Hibiscus Coast.
The Fire Service was called to the house in Milton Road just before 9pm on Friday where a fire had taken hold in a bedroom.
The ambulance service arrived shortly after and attended to a person found inside, who subsequently died.
