An elderly Dunedin woman has taken euthanasia campaigning to a new level, with her death wish tattooed on her chest.
Paula Westoby, 79, has had the words "Do not resuscitate" tattooed on her.
Ms Westoby, the Otago leader of the euthanasia group Exit, says she is trying to make a political statement and hopes the tattoo will help to portray that message.
She says if she was to suffer from a heart attack, she would not want anyone to resuscitate her because of her old age.
