The Buy New Zealand Made campaign has no intention of closing, despite the Government's withdrawal of a parallel promotional project.
It says 1100 companies remain part of the campaign. The scheme is funded via a levy that entitles contributors to print the Buy NZ Made logo, a Kiwi in a triangle, on their products.
The scheme was supported by a separate, government-funded Buy Kiwi Made advertising promotion.
Campaign officials say there is still a need to draw New Zealanders' attention to locally made products, despite the end of the Government's overlapping promotional efforts.
