A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of an Upper Hutt woman.
Mary Donnelly, 38, was found dead in her flat in Ebdentown Street by family members on 30 August this year.
Police say a man was arrested and charged on Wednesday night following three weeks of hard work by 29 investigators.
The Lower Hutt District Court on Thursday suppressed any information that could identify the accused.
He has been remanded in custody and will reappear in October.
