Diesel spilt in level crossing crash

About 4,000 litres of diesel has spilt from a train after a collision with a car at a rail crossing near Darfield in Canterbury.

Three people minor injuries in the crash, about 5.15pm on Monday at a crossing on Creyke Road, east of Darfield.

This is the second collision involving a train and a car in the area in the past two weeks.
