New Zealand gains initiative in second cricket Test

New Zealand has gained the initiative in the second cricket Test against the West Indies at Napier.

Bad light stopped play just before 7pm on Sunday with the West Indies 62 for two in their second innings, still trailing by two runs.

Daniel Vettori and Jeetan Patel have picked up the wickets.

West Indies captain Chris Gayle is 36 not out.

Earlier New Zealand reached 371 with Tim McIntosh top scoring with 136 while Fidel Edwards took career best bowling figures of 7 for 87.
