Christchurch police are looking for three men after what they say is a second home invasion in the city in as many days.
Police say three men forced their way into a house in the suburb of Sockburn on Wednesday, assaulted a person and left with a small amount of cash.
Meanwhile, a second man, aged 21, has been arrested on Wednesday over an alleged home invasion in the suburb of Redwood and charged with aggravated robbery.
Police say two masked men burst into the home of a woman and two children and another man waited in a car outside on Tuesday.
They say a shot fired inside the house did not injure anyone and the woman was able to escape, suffering minor injuries when leaving the property through a broken glass door.
A man appeared in the Christchurch District Court on Tuesday morning on firearms and aggravated robbery charges.
