Police have named a Hastings man who died from stomach injuries during the weekend.
Christopher Robin Jones, 22, was found at a house in King Street South house early on Saturday. He died in hospital later that morning.
A 22-year-old woman is due to appear in the Hastings District Court on Tuesday charged with assault in relation to the incident.
Police say a forensic examination of the house is likely to be completed on Monday.
They are interviewing a large number of people who were at the house at the time of the incident.
