Advertising campaign targets speeding drivers

Speeding drivers are the target of a new advertising campaign by the police and the Transport Agency.

Television advertisements are being supported by radio, billboard, print media and online advertising.

The campaign, launched on Sunday, targets male drivers aged 35 to 49 as well as the younger male drivers they influence.

National road policing manager Paula Rose says speed is the number one killer on the roads, accounting for 38% of the people who died on the roads last year.
