Officials in Qatar say a verdict in the trial over the deaths of 19 people, including New Zealand triplets, will be issued in absentia next month if the defendants fail to show up a fourth time.
The criminal hearing relating to the fire at the Gympanzee creche in the Villagio mall has been postponed for a third time after one of the owners of the creche, Iman al Kuwari, failed to attend.
Officials say the court will proceed with the hearing on 13 November whether Ms al Kuwari attends or not.
An official report found the fire in May started in the roof of a Nike shop when a light fitting failed.
