The holiday road toll has risen again, following the death of a man from injuries suffered in a crash in Taupo two days after Christmas.
The Ministry of Transport says the man died on Thursday.
It brings the Christmas-New Year toll to 25 and the number of road deaths for 2008 to 365.
In 2007, 422 people died on the roads.
