Police investigating the death of a Christchurch prostitute say a man they were seeking has come foward to give a statement.
The body of Mellory Manning, 27, was found in the Avon River on 19 December. She had been working in Manchester Street the night before.
Police say the driver of a silver Ford Focus has helped add to the information they have built up.
But they are still trying to identify an XR6 or XR8 Ford Falcon that Ms Manning was seen sitting in.
