A second person is now charged with the murder of a man in the Auckland suburb of Mount Wellington.
Tamati Tupe, 23, was found dead on Hillside Road, on 30 September.
Police were alerted by an anonymous call from a phone box.
Detective Inspector Dave Lynch says a teenager who was previously charged with assaulting Mr Tupe, has now had that charge upgraded to murder.
Last week, another teenage was also charged with murdering Mr Tupe.
Both will appear in court on Thursday; one at Manukau Youth and the other at Manukau District Court.
