Housing New Zealand has temporarily relocated a small number of staffbecause their offices did not meet earthquake safety standards.
Those affected are in Invercargill, Te Kuiti, Greymouth, Nelson and Kaitaia.
Housing New Zealand says it is looking for more permanent premises over the next three months and people can meanwhile contact them at the Customer Services Centre.
A further 88 staff in four areas have been told that their offices are undergoing further evaluation to establish any safety risk.
