Police have named a woman who died of stab wounds in South Auckland and a man found dead following the fatal attack.
Inayat Kausar, 24, was stabbed at a house in Manurewa on Friday morning and died in Middlemore Hospital while undergoing surgery.
The body of Ramintesh Avinesh, 27, was found on a rail bridge a short time after the attack on Ms Kausar.
Police say they have been speaking to both families and are not looking for anyone else in relation to the deaths.
The deaths have been refered to the coroner.
