A man has been arrested following a hit-and-run incident in Auckland.
Uilisuni Ofa died after being struck by a car in Waterview early on Wednesday.
Police say a 24-year-old construction worker was to appear in court on Thursday afternoon charged with assault, and more charges are likely to follow.
The vehicle involved in the crash is being examined by crash investigators.
