Reporter now off Hobbit blacklist

Updated at 8:05 am on 22 November 2012

Wingnut Films says it will return the accreditation of a Radio New Zealand journalist for the premiere of the Hobbit movie next week.

Cushla Norman was informed on Wednesday by a publicist with Roadshow Film Distributors that her accreditation had been revoked because she had done too many negative stories.

Wingnut Films now says Ms Norman's acreditation for the red carpet event next week should never have been revoked and it will be returned.

A spokesperson said Wingnut does not have any form of media blacklist.
