Police are concerned for the welfare of a missing west Auckland mother and her child.
They say Toni Reihana, 41, and her three-year-old daughter Keyana Reihana have not been in touch with agencies dealing with them since the beginning of November.
Police believe Ms Reihana may be in hiding in west Auckland or visiting extended family in the Hokianga region. However, many inquiries have failed to locate them.
Ms Reihana is described as Maori, 162 centimetres tall, and of slim to medium build.
Her daughter is also described as Maori with a fair complexion and brown hair.
Police say anyone with information should contact them.
