All Blacks first five Dan Carter has been named player of the year in a clean sweep by the world champions at the International Rugby Board awards.
The All Blacks, unbeaten in 20 tests since the start of last year's World Cup before 38-21 loss to England on Saturday, were named team of the year.
Steve Hansen won the coach of the year award, Reuters reports.
It was the second time Carter had been named player of the year.
All Blacks capitain Richie McCaw, England's Owen Farrell and France's Frederic Michalak were on the shortlist.
Steve Hansen said both Carter and McCaw, who has won the award three times, are great, world class players.
"To have them both playing in the same team at the same time has been a massive advantage to New Zealand," he said.
