10:52 pm on 5 December 2012

Five people have been arrested following an investigation into allegations of migrant labour exploitation and other immigration-related offending.

Immigration New Zealand, which led the investigation, says those arrested face a variety of charges and will appear in the Wellington District Court on Monday.

It says the investigation continues and there may be further arrests.

It would not comment further until after the court appearances.
